Prayer

Prayer

Let me start off this new blog with a simple prayer that Janet taught. I like it because it's easy to remember, and it invites God to guide me through my day. I've been praying these words daily for a very long time. Generally this is the first thing I say to God when I wake. Strangely enough, I sometimes repeat the prayer as I'm lying down to go to sleep too.

Good morning, Lord.

This is your day.

I am your child.

Show me your way.

There's power in prayer. These people visiting the Mount of The Beatitudes in Israel laid hands on one another.
There's power in prayer. These people visiting the Mount of The Beatitudes in Israel lay hands on one another and say prayers for healing.

Because prayers can be said at anytime and in any place, I'm curious to know if you have a specific routine or a particular prayer moment you'd like to share. If you do, please add a comment.
